Feeling lost for greatness...

Lately I feel lost, more lost than I've ever felt in my life. I have always felt I was destined for greatness, doing amazing things in this world that actually make a difference. But at the moment I can't seem to figure out how I will get there. People tell me right now I should be excited because I have a chance to look around and figure it all out without any problems. But instead I feel completely lost. Without direction, without ambitions. It is the most awkward feeling I've ever felt in my life. Everything I've ever read or known tells you to decide on your goals and from there take the steps to get there. Fine and good when you know what your goals are, but what do you do when you have NO IDEA what your goals are. How do you proceed, how to you figure out the steps to get there? Where on earth do you start? Career wise right now I've just been applying for literally ANYTHING to get me going. I've lost my passion for what I do currently, and I also know it isn't fitting for having a family and knowing that will be happening in a few years I need to find something that works for that situation. But I'm feeling lost, and completely clueless and I'm not sure where to go from here. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can figure it out! Wish me luck!

After 5 weeks

Ok so I've been doing TurboFire for a full 5 weeks now and today I did my tracking of my results. And I haven't touched a scale in weeks to see how I've been doing so today was D-day number 1! I am down 2.25 inches overall which is kind of nice to see. Mostly in my waist and hips which are the important places for sure! As for the body fat it only changed by 1% overall which was a little disappointing but the inches tell more than anything else. And my weight only went down 1 lb as well. Again a little disappointing over 5 weeks, but I know I also haven't been as good as I have been in the past. However I'm going to try to keep in mind that its important to do it 80% of the time and the other 20% of the time, enjoy what I love. I'm going to try to do that with most of my life in general. 80% on track, 20% fun. Should be a little easier to stick with it if I do that.

Wish me luck!

My First Ever Video Blog!

So this was my first attempt at a video blog. I am a littler nervous about how I came off to people, but I guess you have to start somewhere right? I also did a mini cooking demo this morning of my favorite breakfast sandwich, but for that I used a video camera and since it is Nick's I don't know how to move it to the computer or how to edit it afterward. So hopefully tonight he will show me how to do that and I'll be able to post another video.

So far so good!

Today was day 25 of TurboFire Prep! And so far its going really well! I love how its quick and effective. So far I think my favorite is Fire 30 cause its super intense and quick and over and done with before you know it! Haven't done any of the HIIT workouts yet though so I have a feeling I'll love those even more!

I haven't weighed myself recently and I don't know if I've lost any, but I feel good about myself. I have noticed myself having more confidence in the last few weeks than I've had in a LONG time! Which is definitely refreshing, and even if I haven't lost anything, the confidence alone makes it worth while!

I'll keep you posted!

Been a few days

So, I haven't posted in a few days, I've still been working out daily, although some of the days got shuffled around a bit cause I thought I was doing something 1 day and really that was 2 days from then... But we're back on track now! TurboFire is going great, I love the energy I have from doing it. Nick swears that he can see my body changing already, and he might be able to, but me being my own worst critic can't see any change in my appearance. The change I see is psychological and emotional. I have a ton more energy and am definitely in a better mood.

I don't know if I can pick a favorite out of the workouts I've done, So far in the program (prep day 19) I love Stretch 40, Fire 30 and Core 20. And my least favorite is Fire45ez since there isn't a turbo there isn't a break, and I have a hard time going for the full 45 mins without a break, but I know I'll get there soon!

Other than that things are truckin along. I'll update more in a few days =]

Thats really all I got today- except I've noticed I'm way hungrier than I usually am... Hopefully that ends soon cause its really hard to stay on track when thats the case!

Well into week 2

Well, I've started week 2 with my weigh in yesterday and Fire 45ez and Stretch 10, and then today Stretch 40!

Yesterday's was hard, but I noticed I was able to do much more than the time before, which was refreshing to notice. Nick was watching part of the time and I think that pushed me a little to prove that I could do it! He ended up tagging me in a post on facebook stating how intense my workout was and that he could never do something that coordinated! It made me laugh!

Todays was relaxing, I absolutely love this yoga, its by far my favorite out of all the yoga's I've done in the past (except bikram of course, but who can afford that now adays, right? someday I'll get back there!) But as for now, I adore Stretch 40, its just intense enough, with the right amount of relaxation mixed in! I love the end with the walking you through relaxing, it was my favorite part about Bikram, and its such a fabulous note to end on with this one as well!

Tomorrow is my day off, which is kinda nice! Its football Sunday, and the Patriots are playing, so you better believe this apartment is going to be crazy! Which btw- I finally hung up all the pictures, so our apartment finally started to look like a home!

I hope everyone is enjoying the playoffs right now! I'm off to go watch them now!
